Fernando is a seasoned sustainability consultant with extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams to address high‑impact, technically complex sustainability challenges. At Mantle Climate, he works with clients to understand, assess, and respond to physical climate risks, with a strong focus on translating complex climate science into practical, actionable resilience strategies. 

Prior to joining Mantle, Fernando helped establish and co-led the Climate Risk Assessment practice at EY Philippines, supporting the private sector, government, and communities in building resilience in one of the world’s most climate‑vulnerable regions. Beyond climate resilience, his work has also spanned decarbonization, plastics and circularity, biodiversity and conservation, public health, and digital transformation, approached through both business‑led solutions and public‑policy innovation. 

Fernando holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California, and has lived, worked, and studied across six countries: the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, the United States, and Canada.
